The Gift-A Love Story

                The way I see it..........

  
God and Jesus are sitting on their thrones in heaven---looking down upon us........

     "Ya know Son------I created them---formed them with my very own hands.---I know them intimately. ---I numbered every hair on their head... I know them....

  Every day was lived out before they were even born.---I know them......I KNOW  them......

  
Son, they can’t save themselves---they can’t be alone.---I didn’t create them to carry their burdens all alone.....They need a Savior-----Son they need YOU!!!

I’m asking you to go.........To carry their sins---to be their sacrifice...to be their SAVIOR......"

          " Dad, ---my Father---I will go because YOU asked.--------I will go because I LOVE them...."

           A baby is born.....A Savior who knows!!!----ACCEPT HIM

            A child grows....He plays...but He knows.

            
A man...His ministry...OUR SAVOIR---ACCEPT HIM

                Our Savior...serving...healing...watching...listening.......WAITING....He knows....it’s near---He prays---“may this cup”---“Your will” ....IT’S TIME------He knows---HE ACCEPTS------ACCEPT HIM.

      They take Him away.......He’s laid on a cross----A tree---nails.....His hands....His  feet---HE KNOWS YOU, HE LOVES YOU!!

     His death...Our savior---He knew---ACCEPT HIM

                Oh my glorious God---He’s ALIVE---OUR SAVOUIR----MY SAVOIR---YOUR SAVIOR....He knew---ACCEPT HIM

          It wasn’t the nails that held Him to that tree-----it was His love for you  and me that kept Him there.

                YOUR SAVIOR---HE KNOWS---ACCEPT HIM---HE ACCEPTED YOU!!!!!!

                      THE GREATEST LOVE STORY EVER BEING TOLD –----STILL TO THIS VERY DAY—because it’s not over------it’s still being written!!!!---We get to see His love every day in action---we get to read it---to hear it---to speak it---to show it---to accept it---to live it----LOVE LIVES  out ----through you---YOU GET TO KEEP  WRITING IT!!!!!!!----WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO SAY????

Footprints

    I'm sure we've all read or even own something that has the "footprints" poem on it. The one about walkin on a beach and seeing only one set of prints and they end up being God's when He was carrying the one in trouble.  Ya know the one? Anyway. After my last blog "Exit Light" I was reading the bible like I always do and was asking the Lord to "teach me, talk to me, show me something" in his word. I was thinking back over the past many months and wondered how I really "got through" them and how can I help others who might be going through a difficult situation too.
   There were times when I felt alone but trusted His word that I wasn't. There were times when I needed to "hear" God but didn't. There were times I begged for a sign and didn't get one. There were times when I cried til I had no tears left believing the Lord Himself wiped every tear away. During all of this time I trusted God when I couldn't see Him at work or hear His voice. I couldn't rely on my feelings because feelings can deceive. I had to trust in God and His word alone.
   Just because we can't or don't see him or can't or don't hear him does not mean he is not here with us or He's not talkin!!! Sometimes all we have is the word of God---and that is enough! I believe God used this time with me to work out a lot of junk in my life that I didn't know I had.. in allowing Him to do this makes for a more perfect vessel(me). NO I'm not saying I'm perfect but I am a more formed vessel which the potter has formed to his likeness. I had to let God have my junk so I could have more of him! I asked God to change what needed to be changed and to help me love like he does. I want my heart to break for what breaks His.
   We go through many, many situations in our life that we just don't understand and we look around for God but we don't see His "footprints" and assume He's not there with us. BUT, He is with us. ALWAYS!! Just because we are caught up in our situation and it may have come as a surprise to us doesn't mean it is for God . Like our youth pastor Drew said " God doesn't look at our life and say "Oh My Me!!!" lol..-He's not surprised. He has every thing under control and we are in his very capable hands!!
   I would not trade my time even though I felt alone and thought him to be not listening and silent because I know I wasn't and I trusted His word--but I had to, needed to stay connected to him even though I didn't feel him. His word is a life line grab ahold and don't let go no matter what!!    

 Provers77:19 Your path led through the sea. your way through the mighty waters; though your footprints were not seen.
  
   My prayer for you.... Lord may they trust in your word and your promises!! In the name of the most precious name of all.. Jesus Christ.

Exit Light

OK, So a few weeks ago I was walking down our game room hallway. We have a sensor connected to the light at the end which happens to be an exit light. It detects you and the light comes on but it doesn't seem to "detect" me till I get to the very end of the hall but without fail it does come on. Our hallway is dark, very dark. I ALWAYS think I'm gonna run into the door but I NEVER do. Well, this time I'm walkin and as I always do I get to the end  I start to lift my hand to feel for the door so I don't run into it, which I never have, but I always think I'm going to, this time I heard the Lord say" Rachell sometimes you have to walk in the dark trusting the light will come on. I am the Light!".      JOHN 8:12 "I am the light of the world...WOW.    So I put my hand down and take one more step and the light comes on! 

     God is good! YA see, we have been dealin with a lot of   "What is goin on?"  "Why is this happening to us?"  "What are you doin God?"  Ya know, things we don't understand. Even though I believe we are on the "tail end" of this season and walkin into the next this was a word not only for me but I believe for others also. Whatever you may be "going through" don't treat your present situation lightly ( no pun intended) it could very well be a training ground for your next season. Welcome it. Walk through it !!

   So,what does this mean? Sometimes God asks us to take steps when we don't see the way.  All we can do is trust God, keep walkin even if we don't understand the "whys" and even if we feel like we are walkin alone in the dark. We are never alone!!     ISAIAH 42:16 I will led the blind by ways they have not known, along unfamiliar paths I will guide them; I will turn the darkness into light before them and make the rough places smooth. These are the things I will do; I will not forsake them. 

   God sees all and knows all so trust him and take another step!!     You could very well be a step away from darkness to light!!    PSALM 119:105 Your word is a lamp to my feet, a light on my path.

     My prayer for you:       Heavenly Father I pray your people turn to you in their "trying" times and are strengthened with your word. I pray your presence be with them and they know they are not alone. You already have the outcome in your hands. I pray they remain faithful to you and when they are on the other side they turn back full of praise and  say" God brought me through it and I am a much better person for it"!! I pray love abounds in their households and they carry your presence with them where ever they go and they become light in this world of ours. In the name of Jesus I ask amen.....

Blogging

This is absolutely ridiculous! It has taken me several hours just get this much done. Ya see computers and I have a love hate relationship. I hate them and they love to confuse me! I hope this is up and running  properly. Maybe someone can let me know because if I try to find out I'm sure it will get completely erased and NOT by my hand. Lord help me.
